Little Nan

This portrait was produced using Polychromo coloured pencils. I used different grades of warm grey for the entire piece which gave the picture a softer look, which is in character with my Little Nan.

This grey squirrel was photographed in St James park London. I wanted to try working in the style of the old masters, wile I enjoyed the practice it did seem to take a long time but the end result was well worth the effort.

This is another portrait that I was working on in the style of the old masters, I have reached the grey scale stage. The next stage is to start adding glazes of colour.
